The Mykonos KTEL bus network is the cheapest and most reliable way to get around the island. Most single tickets cost €1.80–€2.80, and the airport and port runs cost about €3.00 — pay the driver in cash, or buy online through KTEL Mykonos’ e-ticketing portal. All routes leave from two hubs in Mykonos Town: Fabrika (South Station — airport, New Port, and the southern beaches like Paradise and Platis Gialos) and Old Port (North Station — Ano Mera, Elia, Kalafatis, and Agios Stefanos).
In peak season the busiest beach routes run every 30 minutes and keep going long after midnight — the last bus back from Paradise leaves at 02:30, and Platis Gialos buses run until roughly 03:00. Last updated 31 July 2026: every timetable on this page was re-checked against the official KTEL Mykonos schedule notices (posted 11 May – 29 June 2026). Since our previous update, KTEL added later night departures on the Paradise, Ornos and Platis Gialos routes, switched the airport line to an hourly pattern, and listed a new Fabrika–Super Paradise service.
Mykonos’ local buses are called “KTEL buses” and operate year-round, with far more frequent service from May to September connecting Mykonos Town to the beaches. The bus is the best-value way to get around, but if you want full flexibility you can rent a car or a quad.

MYKONOS TOWN (OLD PORT) TO KALO LIVADI BEACH:
KTEL’s summer 2026 timetable page lists the Old Port–Kalo Livadi route but does not currently publish departure times for it. Before planning your day around this bus, check the printed board at the Old Port station or call KTEL Mykonos on (+30) 22890 26797. Kalo Livadi is close to Elia, so the Elia bus plus a short taxi hop is a workable fallback.
MYKONOS TOWN (OLD PORT) TO PANORMOS BEACH:
The Old Port–Panormos route also appears on KTEL’s summer 2026 timetable page without published times. Ask at the Old Port station or call (+30) 22890 26797 for the current departures; if none are running, a taxi from Mykonos Town takes about 15 minutes.
A note on Old Port buses to Ornos and Platis Gialos: earlier seasons had direct connections from the Old Port to Ornos and Platis Gialos, but they are not in KTEL’s published summer 2026 timetables. Use the frequent Fabrika–Ornos and Fabrika–Platis Gialos buses instead — Fabrika is a 15-minute walk from the Old Port through Mykonos Town.
MYKONOS AIRPORT TO NEW PORT (FERRIES TO ATHENS):
NEW PORT (FERRIES TO ATHENS) TO MYKONOS AIRPORT:
- Direct airport–port link (timetable per KTEL’s notice valid from 29 June 2026): hourly at :15 from the airport and :30 from the New Port, with the same 19:00–20:00 gap as the Fabrika–New Port line.
- Useful if you are connecting straight from a flight to a ferry — allow at least one spare bus in case of delays.
