However, after speaking to many hotel owners in Greece and Santorini in particular, I figured out that most of the hotels, villas, and apartment owners in Santorini (and in Greece, to be honest) are using both Airbnb and Booking.com.
VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW
- Most Airbnbs in Santorini are also listed on Booking.com and will probably cost you less because Booking.com doesn’t charge you any additional fees, and you don’t have to wait for confirmation from the host. Everything is instantly bookable.
- Best beach locations:Perivolos, Perissa, Kamari
- Famous dramatic volcano views but no beach (and more expensive): Fira, Oia, Firostefani, Imerovigli
